Après 9 albums, Malene Mortensen n'est plus une débutante. Elle fait partie de la scène jazz danoise comme une valeur confirmée depuis près de dix ans et nous propose un savoureux album "can't help it"(hommage à Quincy Jones et Michaël Jackson), synthèse de ses rencontres et collaborations avec d'autres musiciens, danois bien sur, mais aussi ayant joué avec elle dans ses voyages, en Asie, aux Etats Unis, ou en France. entre compositions personnelles et standards léchés, l'album est celui de la maturité.

After ninth albums, Malene Mortensen is no longer a beginner in music. She 's already now part of the danish jazz scene for more than ten years, and she's a female vocalist of a great value. "Can't help it" is a very sweet album( single song dedicated to Quincy Jones and Michael Jackson), a synthesis of her meetings and partnerships with other musicians, danish of course, but also ones from Asia, United States or France, between personal songs and stylish satndards, "can't help it" is the album of maturity.
